What is UV-Resistant Plastic Sheeting
Standard plastic materials degrade when exposed to prolonged sunlight. UV radiation breaks the polymer chains in the plastic, causing brittleness, discolouration and reduced tensile strength. Our UV-inhibited material features stabilisers that absorb or screen out harmful UV radiation, thereby extending the product's life. This makes it a better choice than non-treated plastic for any outdoor use.
Clear Polythene Sheeting (500 gauge)
Heavy-duty clear polythene sheeting available in 2m or 4m wide rolls and 500 gauge. UV stabilised for outdoor use.

For polytunnels and other temporary weatherproofing applications where transparency and durability are required.
Clear Polythene Sheeting (1000 gauge)
Maximum durability, 1000 gauge thick and 2m or 4m wide rolls. Strong plastic for physical and weather protection.

Recommended for industrial, construction and gardening applications where a high-performance barrier is needed to protect against physical damage and weather.
Clear Polythene Sheeting (720 gauge)
720 gauge UV-protected clear polythene sheeting available in extra-wide rolls of 7.3m, 9.2m, 11.1m and 14m.
Applications
For large polytunnels and cloches. Also, for construction, agriculture and other industrial applications where a wide, resistant covering is required.
